Thomas Adams, M. Div.;
Executive Director of The AIDS Foundation
Coordinates and manages the Guardian Project as
project director. Responsibilities include maintaining
collaborative relationships and coordinating all
technical services for the project. Prior to joining
The AIDS Foundation of St. Louis, Adams served as
executive director of Bethany Place, an ASO in Belleville,
Illinois, from 1994 to 2000 where he successfully
developed a one-stop-shop approach to services and
a transitional housing facility. Adams holds a Masters
of Divinity and has served as a hospital chaplain.
Michael Green, Ph.D. MHSA; Director of
Planning and Research Office of AIDS Programs and
Policy, Los Angeles County Department of Health
Green has served as a technical advisor
and will conduct process and outcome evaluations.
A Ph.D. trained evaluation scientist, he has done
research and evaluation for the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention, Health Resources and Services
Administration, and the State of Missouri. Green
recently completed a research project with a similar
evaluation component for the Office of AIDS Policy,
Department of Health and Human Services on the possible
correlation of recreational drug use and increased
HIV incidence among young MSM.
Neal Eargood, Neel Eargood Designs
Eargood, an HIV positive community member,
will revise and produce creative materials for the
project as needed. He holds a BFA in Studio Art
and has produced materials for many AIDS Foundation
projects including HIV Aware/Not In Care and the
Tour du Coeur.
Douglas Franklin Russell
Russell, an independent producer/videographer, will
produce a Guardian video. He has more than 20 years
experience in film and video production. Russell
previously owned Aardvark Productions, which produced
programming for such clients as the St. Louis Science
Center and Webster University.
Mitchell Blackwood Productions
A full service production company specializing in
custom videos for commercial, industrial, and personal
use. Founded initially as a company to produce small
specialty videos, it now handles a wide variety
of projects from documentaries, commercials, music
videos, weddings, industrials, and narrative shorts.
Mitchell Blackwood Productions is operated and managed
by New York University Film School graduate, JJ
Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick has extensive
experience working on all aspects of a production
for both films and videos. He practices a neo-guerrilla
style of filmmaking that efficiently delivers professional
quality pieces for minimal expense.
SteadyRain, Inc.
The current AIDS Foundation Webmaster, will develop
and implement the Guardian Website. SteadyRain specializes
in creating and implementing online identities for
a variety of business and nonprofit clients and
was recently noted as one of the region's fastest
growing technology companies.
Denise Bentele Heintz, APR, Common Ground
Public Relations, Inc.
Heintz will develop and implement a public and media
relations campaign for the Guardian Project. She
holds a bachelor of journalism degree and has extensive
experience in health care and corporate public relations,
including crisis communications.
